SLA: Addendum A & B

ADDENDUM A: SERVICE SCOPE (IN-SCOPE)

The processes outlined below refers to the standard service scope.

*for the purpose of this document Client refers to Lead project Owner.

Available recourses In-Scope

  • In house Animators/Editors
  • Copywriter / Script editor
  • Licensed Generic Stock Library (*Video, Audio, Still Images)
  • Voice Over recording facility

Timelines

Realistic timelines vary based on project requirements, complexity and available resources.
Timelines are estimates and are subject to many factors. Therefore timelines will be advised once a project has been properly vetted/Scoped.

Project length

The in-scope maximum length is a runtime of up to 3 minutes (*Ts&Cs)


A. New Projects:

A project that has not been started or was initially created by Mobilearn

a-1. Client submits project request brief LINK

a-2. Brief is logged and scoped for production (TAT 24/48hrs Weekdays only)

a-3. In-Scope :

  • YES – Moves onto step a-4.
  • NO – Refer to Addendum-B

a-4. Scripting (Proofreading, Copywriting, Adaptation and Timing)

a-5. Kick-Off meeting (Creative discussion with the client, includes script being sent for approval.)

a-6. Storyboarding (Includes Stocktake of footage, audio, and other required elements)

a-7. Voice-over scheduling and recording (In-house Voice options Only)

a-7. Composition (Asset design *screen-casting, backing audio etc)

a-8. Production (Editing, in-house proofing and reviews)

a-9. Version 1 Release (Client receives completed version 1 for review)

a-10. Feedback discussion:

  • Script change? (If yes Project reverts back to a-6 + Retime)
  • (if NO proceed to steps a-11)

a-11. V1 Update Edits (Updating the project based on feedback received)

a-12. Version 2 Release (Client receives completed version 2 for review)

a-13. Version 2 Feedback:

  • Non-Recursive Edits Only.
  • No Script Change Permitted
  • *Recursive edits refer to sections B

a-14. Final edits, render and completion

a-15. Project Delivered


B. First Run Recursive and Project Updates:

Any updates are required to a project that has not been marked as Final/Approved.

b-1. Last-minute change request received. (Recursive edits or price change etc.)

b-2. Script and Storyboard update (includes re-recording of the voice-over)

b-3. Production (Editing, in-house proofing and reviews)

b-4. Overtime Version 3 Release for review (Client receives completed version 3 for review)

b-5. Version 3 Feedback:

  • Approval received YES – continue
  • Recursive edits:

YES – Investigate bottleneck – Evaluate and close the project as Billable.

NO – Proceed to b-6

b-6. Final edits, render and completion

b-7. Project Delivered

C. Second Run Project Update:

Any project that has been Finalised/Approved and closed off for longer than 7 working days is to be treated as a second-run new project. This project is billed as a new project.

c-1. Change request brief received. (Required updates to the closed project)

c-2. Script and Storyboard update (includes re-recording of the voice-over)

c-3. Production (Editing, in-house proofing and reviews)

c-4. SR Version 1 Release for review (Client receives completed version 1 for review)

c-5. Version 1 Feedback:

  • Approval received YES – continue
  • Recursive edits:

YES – Red flag as this should not occur at this stage

NO – Proceed to c-6

c-6. Final edits, render and completion

c-7. Project Delivered

D. Value Add Service

Currently in scope is the vodavideos.co.za Internal Learning Platform.

Offered as a distribution service for internal videos to staff, for general viewing as a repository

Or team learning and gamification. Offers quizzes and metrics to assist in staff onboarding, skills improvement and assessment.


ADDENDUM B: OUT OF SCOPE

An Out-of-Scope Project:

Any project requiring elements that are not readily available per the above scope.

These elements are explained briefly below but are not limited to this list.

Prerequisites
(i) An out-of-scope project will require a separate PO/Quote to be raised and approved before commencement.

(ii) Timelines cannot be provided till the above has been approved and all out-of-scope
elements of the project have been confirmed.

  • Location-based production: (*when custom footage is required)
  • Storyboarding workshop
  • Location Scouting
  • Talent Casting
  • Draft footage approval and shoot revisions
  • Soundtrack Licensing (*Music on the radio/internet)
  • Custom voice-over artist.
