Most of the videos we have been updating on the mobilearn.africa site with links to Facebook page and Twitter have been in 16:9 format. This works quite well on a desktop. However, when watching the same video on a mobile device, especially a smartphone, even the larger screens, the image becomes quite small and that is ok for millennials, but for those over 40’s it may be hard to see.
The good news is that we plan to include video dimensions that really work well on a mobile device – in portrait mode – no need to flip the smartphone.
Now there is a choice – watch our tips and tricks on a desktop or on your mobile.
Cool! We may then decide to have just mobile format which looks cool on a desktop as well.
